As Senior Vice President, Margaret Schuler provides overall leadership for World Vision’s office in Washington, DC. Managing a team of professionals that raise public grants and who ensure quality programming of all WV’s resources – both public and private – around the world. Ms. Schuler has 25 years of diverse experience in the field of international relief and development, holding senior level management and technical positions both at U.S. headquarters and field levels with organizations such as IRC, CARE, Save the Children and World Vision. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Washington State University in Animal Physiology and a Masters in International Affairs from Ohio University. Ms. Schuler has focused her work on improving the lives of most vulnerable women and children around the world in both emergency and development contexts. She began her career in Africa as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Tanzania.
